Private Duty Nursing: Providing specialized one-on-one care in clients' homes for those in need of continuous hourly nursing care, up to 16 hours per day.
Responsibilities
Delivering personalized care and fostering patient interaction
Conducting vital signs and physical assessments
Administering medications and treatments as per physician's orders
Documenting patients' ongoing condition
Possible responsibilities include G-tube, trach, and vent care
Training
Receive one-on-one specialized training
Trach, ventilator, and G-tube training available
