Make sure you unpack the ENTIRE mod. Go into your Documents folder. Check in your Mods folder to make sure none of the Road to Fame folders are deeper than the one level. When I first installed it, I clicked on Mods, clicked on Road to Fame and found folders, which made the stuff two and three levels deep. Everything must be one level deep. As in, you click on the Mods folder and everything is just right there. If you find you've got folders full of stuff from Road to Fame deeper than that first level, drag said folders to your desktop and unpack them. From there, drag the individual items into your Mods folder. See if that helps.

I haven’t tried on my mac but I’ve downloaded all of the files and unpacked it. It still doesn’t work. I have this same struggle with other mods like Lilsimsie’s premade Sims 4 worlds and I can’t understand why it happens.

Did anyone notice a problem with this mod? I saw something about Road to Fame in my lastexception file, but I'm not sure.
I've got the updated version for Jungle, too, and yes, I'm getting lastexception files, but I just delete those.

For some reason, the version on his patreon downloads better. His other site gets gummy. It's still free.

Yes, I think you just have to click resume. Check out his page, all of his mods work well with the patch. Also, I went ahead and removed the older version of RTF_Professional Singing Career and downloaded it again. I'm pleased to say that there is now more of a selection for a Sim to sing on the karaoke/mic unit he created for this profession. The higher up my Sim goes, the more songs are unlocked. He's already almost at level 4 of the Professional Singer career. Which is good. He was a Global Superstar when I downloaded the patch and he lost all but 1 song released and most of his Hit Beat points. He needs 100/100 in order for concerts to book. Had to roll back several saves to find one where my Sim hadn't recorded anything. Long road back.

I had the same thing happen at a nightclub. I wanted the 'Meet and Greet' to start around 11pm. The fans and paparazzi were there but no event timer. However I stuck it out and until it became 8am the event timer started! When I do the meet and greets now, I have them outside my sim's home. It works perfectly and I always get the event tasks to complete. My sim has reached the top of the celeb curve. Maybe try a meet at your sim's home and see if it works. Good Luck!

So, what you're suggesting is the 'meet & greet' works better at 8? I could swear it was far later in the evening when the first one worked. Or, maybe not. Perhaps it was early on Saturday. I'll have to explore this notion further. Thanks for the hints!

Addicted To This DrugHey again. So I launch the game with TROF mod installed but when I click on my sim, it doesn't appear anything. And I read that a trait comes with it to, wich I doesn't have either. My game's version is 1.36, maybe it isn't compatible with this version?
