I thought about the kid playing Jimmy Olsen in Smallville, but he's a tad youthful for McHenry, I think.
A younger Stoltz works well. Nice bit of casting, there, dude.

I took a little license with the lighting in this one, especially around her chin ... but think that, artistically speaking, it really enhances the shot.

Some may question the choice of actor, but ... I've never really had a problem with this guy's performances. He's no Olivier, but ... he's certainly better than, say, Schwarzenegger when the latter started out. One look at Hercules in New York and you'll know what I mean.
In addition, Diesel naturally projects that unutterable arrogance which is Si Cwan's stock-in-trade.

Alternately, one could go with Michael's suggestion, Milla Jovovich:
She may well be a better choice than Danes.
Opinions?

While I know next to nothing about the character (I haven't read any of New Frontier), based on what has been mentioned here on SPTMA, I think the Jovovich image works excellently. And I do think she works better than Danes.

There is something almost overtly masculine about this manip. Jovovich is recognizable, but ... the thickened brows and desaturated lips really give her the look for which I think should be striven.

Sincere thanks for the compliments.
Actually, Fedhog on occasion reaches my level ...
... but not, it would seem (considering their take on Devastator [note the third "a"]), as relates to spelling.
Joking aside ... does anyone seriously think the Federation would ever, ever, EVER name a starship Devastator? It's so antithetical to the spirit of Star Trek that it's almost laughably appalling.
Is this, perhaps, a Mirror Universe/Terran Empire ship?
[Disclaimer to above mini-rant: Of course, Trek is first and foremost entertainment. So long as people are having fun, that's what matters.]

Well, have a look at TF 58 of Bravofleet. The ship is there.

I took a look.
It's still, despite the premise, a name Starfleet would never use.
Your board, your wave, though.

It's not my board, meow! It's Chris Johnson's board. And he made it up to TFXO with his ship.
